Running errand and taking care of people’s property has always been my joy right when I was a kid, because it gives me a sense of responsibility. Because of my passion, I took a job as the Logistics/ inventory officer with a painting company ”DN MEYER PLC” where it was my duty to maintain and monitor inventory assigned to the warehouse. Furthermore, I was obligated to receive and gave out items to and from the warehouse according to the policy of the company. Moreso, for me to ascertain my goods are in good condition, I have to inspect them regularly and to prevent any inconsistency. Finally, I took charge of all ERP records of all transactions of the warehouse.
I was also in charge of organizing vehicles for delivery of goods and services to walk in customers and distributors within the North East region of the country and I made sure it was monitored and tracked to prevent any unforeseen circumstances within the purview of the company policy. All the logistics and inventory management as mentioned above was carried out for four years duration, afterward, I resigned and took a similar job with a roofing company “SWISSTECH INDUSTRIES” with added responsibilities. I was responsible for procuring items needed by the office with strong bargaining power and also provide logistics support for the organization.
With my years of experience in Inventory Management, Procurement and Logistics, I have been able to develop an excellent time management skill which could help occupy any adminstrative position successfully
